Click here to find lists that may be printed out and taken to local stores for school supplies.  Most teachers have provided these lists for all grades.  Some supply lists will be passed out in the class on the first day of school.  Please make sure that your child has the proper supplies to begin the school year and throughout the year. As one of over 8000 schools in the United States that host a WeatherBug station, Summersville School has a direct connect to their local weather station.  This link will take you to to that connect and display the local weather as currently reported from the Summersville weather station.  This connect is also used in the various classes in the school to provide current and accurate weather information for study and analysis.  View WeatherBug     Back to top


Summersville School Report Card 2007

The Illinois State Board of Education under the direction of the Illinois Legislature mandates that all schools in Illinois that maintain a website must publish on that website the School Report Card for the previous year which gives a statistical analysis of the structure and standing of the school based on demographic information provided by the school and the ISAT (Illinois Student Achievement Tests) which are administered each year.  To read this report, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.  If you need to download a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader, please click here.  View the current  Report Card  (The current school report card will be posted as soon as it is available)   Back to Top


Summersville School Budget FY 2007

The Illinois State Board of Education under the direction of the Illinois Legislature requires that all schools in Illinois that maintain a website must publish on that website a copy of the school budget for the current fiscal year.  This is the budget adopted by the Summersville School Board of Education and submitted to the State of Illinois on an annual basis. Summersville School Cafeteria

Summersville School uses an automated cafeteria program to increase traffic flow through the lunch/breakfast lines and to provide a complete audit trail for funds handled for the cafeteria.  Additional conveniences are afforded parents through this system, including the capability to check the balance of a student's account on the Internet and to make payments into the account via credit card, debit card or automatic withdrawal from your checking account.  Click here to read more about this system and how to sign up for it.  Depositing into the account over the Internet does involve an additional charge imposed by the company that handles the system. This charge is not part of the school's receipts.  Training sessions regarding this system will be made available throughout the year.     Back to Top


Summersville PTO         Summersville Booster Club

Summersville School is fortunate to have the outstanding support of two parent organizations who spent untold hours working to raise money, chaperone field trips, prepare parties and perform many tasks far beyond the normal call of duty.  These untiring volunteers provide funds for athletic needs as well as classroom needs and strive to keep Summersville School in the forefront of academic, musical and athletic achievement.  We are more than proud and grateful for these two organizations.  Visit their web pages - PTO  and  Booster Club
